DAY 38 (11/25/2014)

Be very careful how you live- not as unwise, but as wise...because the days are evil.  -Ephesians 5:15-16

SG:  Father, give us eyes to see those who are struggling among us.   For those who find themselves on the path, or in rocky or thorny soil.  Help us as a body of believers to reach out to those who are struggling and to disciple and mentor those who are young in the faith.  Forgive us when we become too consumed with our own lives to see those struggling around us.

MN:  Be with our service tonight as we come together for a time of  prayer, scripture, and song.  May we be blessed and encouraged by our time together.  Pray for those who are already on the road for the holiday season.  Pray for their safe return.

IN:  We ask, Lord, for more caution and more courage as we live our lives in this wicked world.  Help us to be more sensitive to the leading of your Spirit and more aware of the many influences that would harden our hearts and lead us away from You.  We especially ask today that you give us more discernment in our choice of entertainment.

PR:  Praise God today for the work of our missionaries.  Pray for each, by name, and ask God to bless their work.
