DAY 5 (THUR., 10/20)

MEDITATION:  "Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain" - Psalm 127:1;   "What God has joined together, let man not separate" - Matthew 19:6;    "As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord" - Joshua 24:15

PR (Praise), IN (Intercession), CF (Confession), SG (Spiritual Growth), MN (Ministry Needs)

IN:  Father, our shepherds have asked that we pray today for the families of our congregation, and especially those families that are experiencing difficulties.  Bless troubled marriages and bring healing and peace and reconciliation where there is conflict.  Bless parents as they seek to raise their children, that they might exercise a healthy authority balanced by love.  We pray especially today for the welfare of those children who are growing up in homes that are broken by discord or divorce.

MN:  Pray for the work of Jason & Julie Baker as they seek to strengthen our families and to lead young people to the Lord.  Bless our Youth Council as it coordinates our ministries.   Father, we especially ask that you strengthen and guide the parents of our young people as they seek to raise their children in an increasingly ungodly culture.

MN:   We thank you, Lord, for all the individuals from our church family who volunteer to minister at the Recovery Center.  Bless their work, and give your grace to all those who are struggling to overcome their addiction.
