PR: Father, we praise You today for the blessing of a "peace that transcends understanding." We are grateful that we can experience a peace beyond anything this world can provide.
CF: Search us, O God; examine our hearts and innermost thoughts; convict us of wrong and cleanse us of secret sins, that we might love and serve You more fully. Free us from the stranglehold of worry and the burden of guilt.
MN: Lord, we ask that You bless those members of our church family who are struggling with addictions to alcohol, drugs, gambling, or pornography. We pray that they might be willing to accept help; that they might resist temptation and seek the power of Your Holy Spirit; and that they might experience Your victory over the destructive power of these sins.
