BLESSING #21: “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.” I John 1:7-10

PR: Father, we thank You for the promise of forgiveness and unmerited favor. Make this passage real in the lives of so many who have a hard time accepting this amazing gift. Ease their minds and bless their hearts.
IN: Father, we pray for those who are on the verge on dedicating their lives to You through baptism as well as for those who need the prayers of the church but are reluctant or fearful to ask. We pray that You will give them the courage to make necessary changes.
PR: Lord, we thank You for the extra hour of sleep tonight as we set our clocks back to observe the ending of Daylight Savings Time. May we use this time wisely so that we may worship you in the morning fully rested and alert to Your presence in our lives.
