DAY 37 (Mon., 11/19)

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'  So we say with confidence:  'The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.  What can man do to me?"  Hebrews 13:5-6

PR (Praise), IN (Intercession), CF (Confession), SG (Spiritual Growth), MN (Ministry Needs)

PR:  Thank you, Father, for your unending love for us.  We thank you for the confidence that comes from knowing that you will provide for us.  We praise you for all of the gifts you have showered on us throughout our life, and the many occasions in the past when you have brought us through troubled times.

SG:   Father, we confess that the economic troubles in our country have made us afraid.   We hear the constant drumbeat of gloom on the news, and we are anxious about the future.  Help us to remember your promises, and to be content with what we have.  Grant us more trust, and take away our anxious thoughts.

PRAYER AGENDA:  Ask God to bless Wayne & Rhonda Harrell as they work with our Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts  *  Pray for those in our church family who are unemployed and seeking work, that they might find the job they need.    *   Pray for the leaders in our community who are seeking to attract new jobs to this area.
