PR: Father, the beginning of this new month
reminds us of the rapid passing of time.
Give us a spirit of wisdom that we might make the most of our hours. Help us to be faithful and fruitful, not
wasteful and thoughtless, with the time you have given us.
CF: We confess that we are often seduced by the
things on television and end up wasting precious hours of our life watching
spiritually unhealthy programs. Father, convict us of the need to spend more
time with our family, our friends, and in Christian service.
IN: We pray for our
sister congregations here in El Dorado - for the Plum Street, East Faulkner,
and Hillsboro congregations - that we might always maintain the spirit of
harmony and brotherly love we now enjoy.
