DAY TEN (TUESDAY, October 26)

BLESSING #10: “When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said.” Matthew 14:26-29

SG: Father, we thank you for the courageous examples that you give us in serving you. Help us to be a people that will step out of the boat and come to You. We ask that You take away the fear and doubt in our lives this day and fill them with courage and truth. We thank you for being a God that does not sit in the boat and say “Go”, but you stand in the water and say, “Come.”

IN: Father, we thank you for the many generations we have in our church body. Lord, you have blessed us with an inspiring group of “Primetimers” that models the Christian walk each day. Thank you Lord for the courage they have shown in their lives and help us to gain strength and maturity from their successes and failures.

SG: Today, Father, we ask that you help us see that we are always being watched by someone in this world. Help us Father, to keep your word and example constant on our hearts so that we may be an example that will bring others closer to Your Kingdom.
